Miranda Z. Allen is a sophomore Cinema and Photography student at Ithaca College. Since her first semester, Miranda has directed two short films, “Before She Goes” and “In My Blood”, and worked on countless others. She is passionate about females in front and behind the camera, as well as LGBTQ representation. When it comes to vision, determination, and focus, she believes that she has a strong technical and storytelling foundation. She would describe herself as  scrupulous, imaginative, and dauntless. Her goals are to make a difference, mold herself into history amongst other great filmmakers, and have plenty of fun amidst the process.

When Miranda is not creating videos, you can find her playing with the Ithaca Hex Quidditch team, raising money for Relay For Life, writing fiction, and playing with her puppy, Ginger.
